Break Academy ATX provides children an opportunity to learn the art of Breaking (commonly referred to as breakdancing). No experience is necessary. All are welcome.
We're located on South Congress and classes are held at Capoeira Evolução
Our classes are open to everyone from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Classes are held twice a week, Wednesdays at 6pm and Sundays at 1pm. Private lessons are also available upon request.
Students can join the Cap City Rockers break crew and perform at events around the city.
Coach B-Boy Mondo has been teaching breakin techniques for decades. He creates a encouraging and positive environment where children work hard and have fun.
Cap City Rockers have performed at SXSW, Austin City Limits, Austin Bats Basketball, Brave Fest, Fiesta Austin, The Breakfast Boogie and we're just getting started!
